forestry industry.

Forestry remains the cornerstone of the B.C. economy, and
you have been an integral part of this industry. You’ve weathered some ups

and downs, yet you rebuilt and reinvented your organization. The Gorman
Group is a true B.C. legacy and family success story.

I want to give a huge thanks to the Gorman Group for

being a key employer for hundreds of forestry workers and
contractors in several communities throughout B.C. The

story of the Gorman Group shows us how hard work and
perseverance can lead to success. Two brothers who needed

to provide for their families evolved their business in 1951 when their orchards did
not produce fruit to make wood fruit boxes. Today, they are known as the maker of

high-value quality wood products and the finest boards.
